Privacy policy

1. Who we are

R66T Elite Academy is a cricket coaching academy operated by Advent Media House. We are the responsible party for personal information processed through this app, in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

2. What we collect

Parent details: name, email, phone, city and payment status.

Player details: name, date of birth, school or club, playing style, goals, medical notes and emergency contacts, entered by a parent or guardian.

Coaching records: session notes, skill scores, statistics, goals, photos and video clips captured during sessions.

3. Children's information

Every player profile is created and controlled by a parent or guardian. Player profiles are never public. Coaches only see players they are booked with, and private coach notes are never shown on a Cricket CV.

4. Photos, video and AI feedback

Media is stored privately and only used with media consent. Coaches may use an AI assistant to draft technical feedback from a clip; a coach reviews every draft before a parent sees it. Clips are not used to train AI models.

5. Payments

Membership payments are processed by Payfast. We never see or store your card details — we keep only the payment reference, amount and status.

6. How long we keep it

We keep records while your membership is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer.

7. Your rights

You may ask to see, correct, export or delete your family's information, withdraw consent, or object to processing. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

8. Security

Access is limited by role, every change to coaching records is logged, and media is held in private encrypted storage.
